The academy has up to 86 boys and girls between 7 and 16 on roll at any time. Our pupils are those who have been excluded, are at risk of being excluded, or have a medical condition that prevents them from attending mainstream school.
There is capacity for up to 10 KS4 pupils in our medical provision, 50 KS2-4 pupils in our short-term provision for those who have been permanently excluded or are at risk of permanent exclusion, and 36 additionally commissioned spaces for pupils with complex needs (most of whom have EHCPs).
Admission to the 36 additionally commissioned spaces happens through the Suffolk Family Services Team.

Pupils may be referred to Olive AP Academy - Suffolk by the Suffolk In-Year Fair Access Panel. All local schools are represented on the panel and decisions are made by the panel on appropriate educational provision for each individual pupil.
